It's better you maintain Coach Akwesi Appiah, Fmr Egyptian footballer cautions Ghana

Former Egyptian goalkeeper and a member of the Communication team for the Egyptian Football Association Nader El Sayed has cautioned Ghanaians to maintain Coach Akwesi Appiah as black stars team Coach.

Speaking with King Solomon Asiedu on the sunyani based Akonoba FM via phone from his home country, the Egyptian former goalkeeper said Africa must encourage our local coaches.

"Your national team coach Kwesi Appiah is one of the finest coaches in Africa and Ghanaians should maintain him its about time Africa we have to encourage our coaches and give time time"

Despite our unexpected exit from the AFCON 2019 Nader still believes Ghana did better.
"Your team played very well, you have a very nice team made up of young and talented players, who put up a very nice performance during the Cup of nations"

"I pray and hope the Black stars rise again because Ghana is one fine team in Africa" he added.

Nader El Sayed stated his senior career at Egyptian giant Zamalek between 1992 and 1998 where he made 103 appearance before moving to Club Brugge in the Belgian topflight league.
He also has 110 national team caps to his credit from 1992-2005.
