Hon Vincent Oppong Asamoah describes Journalists who insulted him as Kwesi Nyantakyi puppies

Former deputy youth and sports minister Honorable Vincent Oppong Asamoah has described journalists who insulted him during his time in office as Nyantakyi puppies.

As the deputy Youth and Sports minister under the John Manama led administration he declared a "take it or leave it" black stars winning bonus together with sector minister Hon Nii Lantey Vanderpuye slashed the Stars winning bonus to Five Thousand Dollars.

Speaking with King Solomon on Sunyani based Akonoba FM the one time member of Parliament for Dormaa West Constituency stated that that decision did not go well with the then administration and some journalist who were benefiting.

According to the former law maker those media personalities he described as "Puppies" surrounded by the former Ghana Football Association president lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi insulted him back and front.

"Kwesi Nyantakyi was surrounded by puppies who call themselves journalist who were benefiting insulted me, it came to a time where one journalist attacked me at the airport had it not been my bodyguard it would be a different story"

Commenting on the issue raised in Parliament by the member of Parliament for Bawku Central and former minister of sports that Black stars players should receive monthly salaries instead of winning bonuses, he said that can not be possible.

"I think that is not going to happen because as am talking to you we do not have a constant black stars team, so how is the monthly salaries going to he paid? He quizzes.
