Popular Bono Rapper Kooko set to snub Bono, Ahafo Music Awards?



Bono rapper Nana Kwame Gyabaa known well in the showbiz industry as Kooko is set to miss this year's edition of the Bono Ahafo Music Awards.

The awards scheme organized by J Black Code Event has opened nominations for artists from the regions of Bono, Bono East and Ahafo who are interested.

Nominations were officially opened on May 22 and closes next month, June 22 2019 and fillascorner.com can confirm to our readers that Kooko has not filled for nominations yet, though there are one week to the close of the nomination.

In a WhatsApp chat with the Video bi hit maker he disclosed to us that he is yet to file for nomination.

"I have not file for nomination, am in Accra now, I will decide with my managements when I come to BA whether I will participate or not"

The reasons why Kwame Gyabaa has not decided with his management for the nominations is still unknown to us

Kooko won the artist of the year in the maiden edition last year which took place at the Tyco City Hotel in Sunyani which created a lot of confusion between the Techiman based rapper Mega Bush who fell he deserved the award.

Venue and date for this year's BAMA Awards is yet to be announced by the organizers.
