NAM1's Arrest Won't Bring Back Your Money - Maurice Ampaw to MenzGold Customers

Ace lawyer Maurice Ampaw has cautioned Ghanaians who are calling and happy about the warrant to arrest MenzGold director Nana Appiah Mensah that his arrest will delay process in getting back their money.

Speaking with Nana Kwame Nkwantabisa popularly known as Sir Kaay on Adekye Mu Nsem on Sunyani based Akonoba FM as monitored by, he revealed that  there are cases in Ghana where arrest of some personalities have delayed proceedings.

"The arrest of NAM1 will go nowhere, it will not bring back your money because when a case is at the law court you can not talk or take any other step about it, what has happened to Kwesi Nyantakyi after he was granted bail?

When asked by the host the necessary step to get back the money he said the state institutions must come in and intervene.

In reaction to the Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah's claims that Government can do do anything about it, he said he disagrees.

" Unfortunately the Information Minister is my best friend so I do not want to descend on him, the Government must do something about it because a lot of Ghanaians are getting mad, losing their lives all because of the MenzGold saga"

The outspoken lawyer also cautioned that it is possible the New Patriotic Party's government will loose the 2020 general elections as the National Democratic Congress lost in 2016 due to the DKM, God is Love in Brong Ahafo Region.
