BAMA 2018: Kooko deserves the Artist of the Year Award - Gospel singer Rev Janet Bossman

There have been a lot of controversies in the Brong Ahafo Region after rapper Kooko was crowned Artist of the year at  the maiden edition of the Brong Ahafo Music Awards organized by J-Black Code Events as to whether he is a true winner.

In an interview with fillascorner.com, the BAMA Best Female Vocalist and winner of Gospel Song of the year, Rev. Mrs Janet Bossman disclosed exclusively to us that Kooko is a true winner of the Artist of the year.

According to her the "Obiaato" hit maker is exceptional as far as Bono music is concerned.

" Kooko has done very well as well as other musicians in the region has done over the years but I think Kooko has taken BA Music to the next level and so if he is been awarded as the best artist, I think it is a well deserved decision by the organizers "

The radio broadcaster cum gospel singer also stated emphatically that he did not even One Ghana cedis (Ghc 1) for her two awards won, when asked by King Solomon of fillascorner.com if she played for the Gospel Song of the year and Best Female Vocalist of the year accolades.

"I didn't pay even I cedi for none of the awards" she revealed.

The organizers of the Brong Ahafo music Awards have been heavily criticized by some musicians in the region that some were awarded by foul means, one of them is the Techiman based Mega Bush who even destroyed his plaque at the event grounds.
