We must surrender our parochial individual differences, pride, ego, and self-interest for the ultimate drive of Sunyani West district. The assembly is superior to each of us" the Mandela Washington fellow intimated.

Touching on his aspiration he revealed of a possible fight for a district assembly common fund for all assembly members in Ghana.

" I will launch a National Advocacy Project to lobby and push for a 5% allocation of the District Assembly Common Fund for all assembly members in Ghana as per Article 252 (1&2) of the constitution of the Republic of Ghana. This I believe will strongly empower Assemblymembers to demonstrate their good intention to their Electoral Areas. This is achievable, doable and possible. " the Kwatire Assembly member hinted.

Hon Martin Obeng the DCE of the district in a speech after the proceedings called on the assemblymembers to collaborate with the newly elected PM and wield their intelligence to support the assembly.
